The contract for the construction of the first fully Iranian smart hatchery factory in North Khorasan province

According to the public relations report of Kowsar Mechanization and Agricultural Industries Development Company, the contract for equipping the first fully smart hatchery factory in North Khorasan was signed by Kowsar Mechanization and Agricultural Industries Development Company, commissioned by the private sector, in the city of Bojnord for operation in the spring of 2025.

Dr. Seyed Saheb Mirpanahi, CEO of Kowsar Mechanization and Agricultural Industries Development Company, a subsidiary of Kowsar Agricultural Investment Company, announced this news and stated that with a production capacity of 24 million chicks per year, the project is a significant step toward ensuring food security in North Khorasan province.

Dr. Mirpanahi added that the signed contract consists of 36 fully smart hatchery machines with the latest global technology, along with all necessary equipment for the factory, valued at 990 billion rials. All of these will be manufactured by the young scientists of Kowsar Mechanization and Agricultural Industries Development Company (Kamidco).

Reducing the time for chicks to reach poultry farms, improving genetic and flock health, reducing costs, and increasing the productivity of poultry farms in North Khorasan are among the key benefits of constructing the factory with Kamidco’s products.

He also mentioned that the increased quality of the produced products, the use of modern technologies, and the competitive hatching capabilities of these machines will make the products of the company popular in both domestic and international markets.

It is worth mentioning that under a separate contract, all the egg cartons used by this factory in North Khorasan will be supplied by Kamidco’s carton manufacturing unit for three years.
